Scope: 108,000 sq. ft., 8-story office Bldg. with 2,500 + various
fixtures. EMS designed, engineered, managed and implemented a cost efficient
lighting retrofit modification that would maximize savings and maintain
light levels. EMS reduced the KW 50%, increased light levels 30% and
received an “Energy Efficient” Building Award from EUN.
Client: Beutler Heat & Air, HQ Facility, Sacramento, Ca.
Scope: 350,000 sq. ft. of warehouse, manufacturing and office Bldg.
with 5,000 + various fixtures. EMS designed, engineered, managed and
implemented a cost efficient lighting modification that would maximize
savings and achieve the required light levels. EMS reduced the Manufacturing
fixtures by 66%, Warehouse fixtures by 75% and provided indirect lighting
fixtures for the newly created office areas.
Client: The Sacramento Bee, Sacramento, Ca.
Scope: 300,000 sq. ft. of warehouse, production and office bldg. with
3,000 + various fixtures. EMS designed, engineered, managed and implemented
a cost efficient lighting / controls modification that reduced the KW by 50%
+ and increased light levels throughout the facility.
Client: PG&E Regional Offices, Fresno, Ca.
Scope: 102,000 sq. ft., 2-3 story office bldgs. with 1,400 + various
fixtures. EMS designed, engineered, managed and implemented a cost efficient
lighting / controls modification that would allow the dimming ballast system
to be controlled remotely through the existing Energy Management System. EMS
incorporated the “scotopic” formula of lighting values and the ability
to load shed remotely, to give PG & E the maximum control of its
lighting system.
Client: PG&E Warehouse, Fresno, Ca.
Scope: 35,000 + sq. ft. of warehouse / distribution facility with 200+
various fixtures. EMS designed, engineered, managed and implemented a cost
efficient lighting / controls modification that reduced the interior KW by
50%, the exterior KW by 30% and increased the light levels.
Client: PG&E Computer Center, Fairfield, Ca.
Scope: 50,000 + sq. ft. mainframe computer / office facility with 650 +
fixtures. The scope of work was to design, engineer, manage and implement a
lighting / controls modification that would allow the “Scotopic” dimming
system to be controlled by the existing Energy Management System. New
architectural fixtures were installed in the main computer areas, achieving
a KW reduction of 60% and increasing lighting levels.
Client: The Fresno Bee, Fresno, Ca.
Scope: 150,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and production facilities. EMS
designed, engineered, managed and implemented a new lighting system that
reduced the energy use by 50% and increased light levels.
Client: RTC/Orion, Northern, Ca.
Scope: EMS is under contract to provide the monitoring/verification
for the DSM agreement for RTC/ Orion, as a reporting requirement for PG
& E.
Client: Sempra Solutions, Los Angeles, Ca.
Scope: 2,400,000 sq. ft., 67 Bldg. project with 20,000 + various
lighting fixtures to be controlled. EMS’s agreement is to design,
engineer, manage and implement a control system that would connect to a
master Energy Management System, allowing the customer to load shed upon
request from the local Utility Company.
Client: Co-Energy Group LLC, CHP Academy, W. Sacramento, Ca. (4
projects)
Scope: 500,000 + sq. ft., 15 Bldg. project with 10,000 + various
lighting fixtures to be modified / controlled. EMS has designed, engineered
and will manage / implement the full scope of the project.
Scope: 675,000 + sq. ft. 1st phase lighting project. EMS has
designed, engineered, manage and implement the lighting modifications for 33
various Buildings at Fort Polk Army Base in Louisiana.
Scope: 2,000,000 sq. ft. of various California State office bldgs.
EMS is responsible for the design, engineering, management, and
implementation of (5) projects scheduled for 2002-2003.
Scope: 50,000 sq. ft. Commissary Bldg. at the Carlisle Barracks in
Pennsylvania. EMS will provide the design, engineering and management of the
lighting retrofit project.
Client: UC Davis
Scope: 20,000 sq. ft. 1st phase of various bldgs. at the UC Davis
Campus. EMS will project manage and implement the installation of HVAC
control systems for evaluation. 2,000,000 sq. ft 2nd phase is to follow. The
scope of work is to control 600 + package and 1800 window HVAC units in 225
+ bldgs. for on-going KW savings and load curtailment, as requested by the
local Utility.
Scope: A 100,000 sq. ft. Regional Office Facility in the City of
Commerce, CA. EMS designed and engineered a lighting and HVAC modification
and control system that will reduce the energy consumption by 50%.
